Hy-Haul has long been recognised for building the reliable, high-performance cable hauling machinery that keeps Australia’s power and fibre-optic projects moving. Today the entire Hy-Haul range is designed, manufactured and supported by Hydeng Pty Ltd – a nationally respected hydraulic engineering company based in Sale, Victoria.

From joint venture to one integrated team

Hy-Haul began life as a partnership between two specialist businesses. As the product line grew, it became clear that customers would benefit from a single, fully accountable manufacturer. In 2003 Hydeng acquired full ownership of the brand and relocated all Hy-Haul production to its purpose-built workshop. The result is a seamless design-to-delivery process, tighter quality control and faster project turnaround times.

  • 40 + years’ experience in hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems.
  • Former Applications Engineer with Bosch Rexroth and Denison Hydraulics.
  • Expert in CodeSys programming, advanced motion control and 3-D design.
  • Supplying specialised power-line equipment since 1984, including the SECV LVABC rollout.
